The main problem in this research was the answer to question posed about possibility of existence an ethical system based on a materialistic philosophy and not idealistic metaphysical as customary establishing systems. It has nothing do with idealism or metaphysics. Rather, Democritus adopts atomic materialist its theoretical basis does depend reason divine laws criterion judgment moral issues, but rather nature, sense pleasure avoidance pain spontaneous human animal life alike. Herefore, resorts liberating man from fear death gods, so that anxiety spoil deprive him enjoying itself. We have revealed Epicureans are talking is mainly stomach, it reckless exaggerated pleasure, seeks simplicity establish calm disturbed by resulting pursuit more pleasures, results which greater pain.
